Meet Tamara Paskey-Alexander

Photographing women has been my passion for my entire adult life. When I was 23 years old (15 years ago) I opened my first brick & mortar photography studio in Kentucky, threw myself into boudoir full time, and didn’t look back. Several years later I moved the studio to Kansas City, and then in 2015 moved it to Dallas, TX where I have been since. I originally named the studio Paskey Boudoir®, but rebranded to The Vixen Society® post-covid to better reflect my expanded team.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph over 2500 women in my career, and have been able to help them see themselves in a new light. Hearing “You’ve changed my life” time and time again from our clients means I was doing exactly what I was meant to do.
In the process of expanding my business, I was going through horrible burnout and my focus started to slowly shift. In 2023 I stopped taking regular clients so I could focus on my employees, healing my burnout, and to regain my creativity. I went into my fine art nudes in nature with more effort and purpose.

Going through all of of the ups and downs of moving states, hiring employees, expanding, opening a lingerie store, teaching, covid, and more, has given me the knowledge and experience to help photographers be the best versions of themselves. Running a creative business can seem like a daunting task, but it is possible to make a living WHILE remaining fulfilled in your creativity.
