The Photos
Can you imagine yourself looking & feeling powerful in the water of a glacier lagoon? Or in some of the biggest, most awe inspiring waterfalls in the world? I can’t wait to make this happen for you. These will be the photos you admire of yourself when you need a reminder of who the hell you are.

The Sightseeing
I will take you to my favorite iconic Iceland spots around the south of the island, including the icebergs, black sand beaches, glaciers, waterfalls, and basalt columns. You’ll also get to see adorable free-roaming sheep & Iceland horses! The landscape is like nothing else on earth.

Hotel Vík, for our 3rd night in Vík South Iceland

There is a reason that this will be my 5th visit to Iceland since 2019…. It is incredible! The landscapes are stunning at every turn, and there is something very special about spending time in quiet, secluded nature. I come back home after every trip feeling peaceful and renewed. Iceland is good for the soul, even when it is raining sideways. Last year, when I took a group of female photographers for my “Rewilding Retreat”, we all felt completely transformed by our last day. We got to bond, cheer each other on, and get vulnerable with one another. If you’re ready for an epic trip, and have thought about coming to Iceland with me for jaw dropping photos, the time is now! In 2026 I will be taking a break from Iceland to explore other areas of the world. I hope to share this experience with you! When you’re ready to reserve your spot, let me know via text at 214-789-9383 or email at info@tamarapaskeyalexander.com and I can send you an online invoice.

F.A.Q.
Q: How cold will it be? A: The weather varies but it is Iceland so it will be a bit chilly. In late May the weather is often pretty mild with temperatures between 39 and 50 degrees. We will most likely have a combination of rain and sun. I will provide a packing list so you can order what you need to stay warm and comfortable. For your photos, we will plan our poses ahead of time, and I will shoot fast! Conquering mind over matter will make you feel powerful after you’ve posed in the cold.
Q: Is there any shopping along the way? A: There is a large store in Vik that has outdoor wear, Icelandic wool sweaters, souvenirs, etc.
Q: Can I bring my spouse? A: While you cannot bring them on our women’s retreat, you can always go to Iceland early or stay a few days after the retreat! Iceland is amazing to explore with your other half.
Q: Is Iceland Safe? A: Iceland is one of the safest countries in the world. The people are very kind.
Q: Do I need to convert my money or learn Icelandic? A: Everywhere accepts credit cards, so you do not need to exchange large amounts of money. If you want to have $100 USD equivalent to Icelandic Krona, you can either order it at your bank, or use an ATM in Iceland. For language, everyone speaks great English! Icelandic is very hard to learn and not expected by locals.
Q: Do I need travel insurance? A: YES! I always recommend it. I use CHUBB for travel insurance. Their options are the most comprehensive and reputable.
Q: What if I get sick before I go? Will I get a refund? A: The fee is nonrefundable so I recommend getting travel insurance that covers events, excursions, retreats, etc.
Q: What if I get sick while I’m there? A: We will get you to a doctor asap. Hospitals are only in the bigger cities, but local doctors are usually within an hour drive of where we will be. (no one I’ve traveled with to Iceland has ever had a problem)
